Ahhh Rufio, the legendary leader of The Lost Boys in the ever famous Peter Pan movie Hook. However, this fastly rising pop-punk band have little in common with the tight wearing hero. Rufio's album kicks off with Above Me, a fast punky and catchy lil number :), then from here on out nothing really changes apart from the odd slow song such as One Slow Dance. One thing that really did stick out to me was that this band have got something about tears (quite a number of tracks relate to them). All in all though a nce lil album and deffinantly worth checkin out :) (Also check New found Glory, Ataris, Starting Line if u like this) By GReIG!!!

This is the best album that I have heard in a long, long time. Fantastic rhythms, brilliant harmonised guitar riffs and a great voice. All lovers of rock music will like this album, and contrary to other reviews, this is NOT punk-pop. It is far more subtle and understated than the cheese of bands like Blink and NFG, some of the fantastic stuff they do you'll never even pick up on. The guitar work in 'Above Me' is sublime and if you want to hear one of the best punk covers of a pop song, then get 'Like A Prayer'. I thought Strung Out were the best band in this unusual genre that's a fusion of punk, metal, emo and a little bit of hardcore, but Rufio with their creativity and originality are the new kings of the Genre.

Perhaps, I suppose is one of the best albums I have ever heard, it combines some emotional punk, with fast hard guitar parts, and iy sounds GREAT!!! Above me is a very fast punky song (great way to start off a cd) and then moves on to still and i was blown away by how good bass part was and is probably the best song i have ever heard! A must for all pop-punk (blink 182, NFG, Good Charlotte etc., etc.) fans who are looking to expand their horisons a little bit. If I could id give it 6 stars!

The band Rufio I dicovered by mistake and im so glad I did!!! They are quite simply stunning and I don't think i've heard anything that sounds like them. If you want a description, the best I can do is to say that they are a mixture of Strung Out and.....something else...(maybe a bit of New Found Glory & Fenix TX). You should check out the song "above me" because it stands out from this band that gets it name from the movie "Hook"!!
