On the negative side there's not much else going on here, it's literally a gun-shaped PS Move holder (unlike the Sony Sharpshooter which had tons of additional features like being able to slap the bottom of the mag to reload or switch fire rate etc). The only extra this can lay claim to is a battery powered rumble function which kicks in every time you pull the trigger. Before you get too excited about that though I should say that it produces nothing like the quick, sharp recoil a pistol might, instead it gives out more of a long, slow, soft purr. I realise this is all the dualshocks really do too but you'd think they could have pushed the boat out on a bespoke controller like this and given it more of a snapping, motorised kick. Basically, leaving the rumble off or on makes no real difference.
Lastly though, and most importantly, the handle is massive round the top (much larger than you'd find on a real gun) and it becomes pretty uncomfortable to hold after any length of time. I have average adult male sized hands and I could only put up with about 15 minutes play before the aching in my thumb joint and palm took my focus away from the enjoying the game.
Overall then, if you like the look and have massive hands then this could be the perpipheral for you. Otherwise I urge you to consider the cheaper and more comfortable alternatives.
