This short novella has all of those Sullivan trademarks. I'm not a fan of insta-love which this story contains and I did feel when first reading about Colbie that she seemed very young so I was surprised when we learned she was 30. I found it a bit far fetched how they both new Rafe Sullivan.
A sweet love story and I do recommend the full length Sullivan novels if you like a sweet romance with no angst or bad boys!
This book sets the transition in focus from the San Francisco Sullivan's and their cousins in Seattle. Mia Sullivan is on a girls weekend away with friend Colbie Michaels. Colbie meets Noah Bryant on the ski slopes and they have a fantastic day together but she has sworn off me and declines his invite to see him again. Back in Seattle, co-incidence brings them back together as Noah's friend is Rafe Sullivan, brother to Mia.
This is a feel good short story full of hope. It's a step up from the previous books and that's a bit worrying seeing as the main characters aren't Sullivan's!
'and so?' There is no conclusion, just a sense that the characters had connected somewhere in the middle of the more fully fleshed- out Sullivans, the author's main series. This really is not worth bothering with. It was a waste of the 99pence I paid for it. It's also taken me longer to write this review and get the Kindle- induced formatting errors ironed out than it took to read the very short story.in
