This selection of short stories is a great way to sample other writers. It was a little like reading an advertisement, which I suppose it is in its way. One in particular was just background to his books. Not a bad read and I have since bought one of the books on the strength of the sample couple of chapters of the preview by Jacqui Rose.

I enjoyed this book whilst on holiday, although not normally my choice, the stories were very good and made you want to read on. I read some of tasters for other books but you were just getting into the story and then it ended, so you woud purchase the whole book, but really the short stories were just what i preferred, but a very good book, I would recommend!

A collection of the worst short stories I have ever read. Plots were awful, characters were laughable and the overall impression that I got was that they were discarded pieces brought together because they would not sell on their own.

Everyone of these stories are excelent, and I enjoyed reading the exclusive extracts of each author, afterwards, what a bonus. I particularly liked, Wunderland, a story within a story, clever indeed. An easy way to discover writers with a gifted talent to entertain.

So far I have been impressed with the short story content and I like the fact that by reading short stories it is helping my memory whereby long-term medication is making it difficult to read anything else. I like it being on my tablet or phone to read as well as a book would be difficult to hold when I am in pain.

There are six short stories to read, together with excerpts from author's longer forthcoming books. I did not like them that much, in fact I thought two of the stories were good, two average and two pretty weak. Paul Finch's story was the best one for me. However, overall these stories were not that good and I do not normally look favourably at anything under 100 pages long, hence my rating.

Not a bad collection of short stories which I got for a quick freebie from Amazon for my kindle. A couple of the stories are a bit unbelievable but overall as it was free its fine. Easy way to while away a couple of hours

A good way to sample authors works, so far I know I will never read
another book by Jacqui Rose again, too repetitive and very badly
written. Didn't see the point of Luca Veste's story out of time
but I am quite tempted to buy the book dead gone.

I haven't read any of the others yet, not in any particular
rush, but again it is a good way to sample different authors
writing, and it's free.
