This first outing follows Deck and Georgie, both connected via Connor; Georgie's brother and Deck's former best friend and comrade who died right before Decks eyes several years previously. Georgie has loved and adored Deck from afar for years, taking his indifference to mean he doesn't see her for more than an obligation he agreed to protect. In Perfect Chaos we get both their Pov's and its brilliant to see how cold waters truly run deep within Deck.
Without spoiling this book I can say that grief causes people to take extreme measures, but not all chosen measures are truly your own choice it appears. This is a very, very dark book. It takes you on the start of a very twisted and long journey into an organisation who are deeply ingrained in everyone's lives involved in this book.
Many new characters appear, all of who make their presence well known and I for one can't wait for more!!!
So Georgie likes Deck but he doesn't seem to be interested in her unless it to haul her drunken ass out of the pub, which is a lot. But now things are getting out of control when on the anniversary of her brothers death she is found having convulsions at his grave. But Georgie is hiding bigger secrets and Decks is the one to get to the truth and now with everything going on Deck feels the need for him and his men to be round more. But Deck has been keeping a secret of his own, but what will Georgie make of it when he tells her?
Lots of humour from Georgie and a mouth on her that somehow only seems to get her in trouble with Deck.
Will they eventually get together?
What will Deck do when he finds out the truth about Georgie?
I soo want the next book now
#1 in the unyielding series.
I have to say that Nashoda Rose definitely has a way of getting you hot and bothered with her words. Normally I wouldn't read books where the sex scenes take up so much room but Nashoda keeps you hooked on every word. The characters in 'perfect chaos' are intriguing and you will find yourself unable to put the book down. Both main characters have big secrets and there are many twist along the way, some things you will never see coming. This book is a must read (it helps to read the 'tear asunder' series first)
In previous books you got little glimpses of Georgie and Deck and their attitudes towards one another, little peeks of their characters. But it's so far removed from the truth you discover in this first Unyielding book. They both put on their game faces and trundle through the life that has been made for them. The prologue is quite a bit of a gut wrencher and you literally feel georgie's heart breaking at the tender age of 16. What you don't realise is what goes through Deck's mind as he walks away. An then the fun, or not so much fun, begins. There's a bigger picture here, some of which is revealed, some of which isn't. I always go into a series of book looking at the first to be the foundation on which the rest continues. This was exactly that....the building blocks to the story. Yes, we see Deck and Georgie get together. Deck finally caves, with some outside influence and there begins a passionate affair that will have your panty melting.Read more ›

It doesn't happen very often. Seriously, it just doesn't happen! But..... I AM LOST FOR WORDS!!!
I've been in a book funk recently and after hearing good things about Perfect Chaos I decided to see if this would be book to save me from interminable boredom! It was, and the story quite literally rocked my world.
Let's start with the cover. It perfectly represents the storyline and the hero, Deck. It was a little distraction and whilst it delayed me starting the book, slightly, it helped me to focus on the hard edge to Deck and his rough and ready persona.
I haven't read the Tear Assunder series and I wished that I had before reading this book but it didn't detract from the story or my enjoyment and understanding of it, it just would have been nice to have known more about the characters around the perimeter of the story.
The story commences by telling the story of a vulnerable and sweet 16 year old girl, Georgie. It starts with the shocking news of the death of her brother brought to her by his friend and team leader, Deck. The pain Georgie feels is excruciating and the loss of her brother has an profound effect on her for years to come.
In later years, Deck is Georgie's constant shadow and protector but all Georgie wants from this brusk, hulk of a man is his love. Deck also loves Georgie but having promised her brother to keep his distance he is trying to resist the need to comfort her and to make her his.
"He scared me but what scared me more was my body’s reaction to him. The strange tingling between my legs, the warmth on my skin and the whirling in my stomach as if I was falling from the sky.Read more ›
