This was my first Nashoda book and it's bloody brilliant. I am in awe of this author's imagination, love seeing characters all fitting together, loved Deck and Georgie and can't wait for Kia and London and mostly Connors story .

I'm surprised that I am only giving this 4 stars, I have read other books (The Tear Asunder series) from this author that I absolutley loved and were 5 stars all day long. But this one had my head in knots a little, and not such pleasant ones either. The first quarter of the book I found myself quite confused, and wasn't really sure where anything was leading or where anyone was going. I understand how suspense works in novels but when it confuses me it tells me that the point got lost somewhere and the story at this point was a little too complex, a little too vague, a little too early. I'm not of a simple mind, so I think I would not be the only one to have felt this. Saying that, the story eventually unfolds itself and the picture becomes a lot more clearer. There's a healthy cliffhanger going on here too so if you don't like those please be warned.
In previous books you got little glimpses of Georgie and Deck and their attitudes towards one another, little peeks of their characters. But it's so far removed from the truth you discover in this first Unyielding book. They both put on their game faces and trundle through the life that has been made for them. The prologue is quite a bit of a gut wrencher and you literally feel georgie's heart breaking at the tender age of 16. What you don't realise is what goes through Deck's mind as he walks away. An then the fun, or not so much fun, begins. There's a bigger picture here, some of which is revealed, some of which isn't. I always go into a series of book looking at the first to be the foundation on which the rest continues. This was exactly that....the building blocks to the story. Yes, we see Deck and Georgie get together. Deck finally caves, with some outside influence and there begins a passionate affair that will have your panty melting.

5+++ Stars

It doesn't happen very often. Seriously, it just doesn't happen! But..... I AM LOST FOR WORDS!!!

I've been in a book funk recently and after hearing good things about Perfect Chaos I decided to see if this would be book to save me from interminable boredom! It was, and the story quite literally rocked my world.

Let's start with the cover. It perfectly represents the storyline and the hero, Deck. It was a little distraction and whilst it delayed me starting the book, slightly, it helped me to focus on the hard edge to Deck and his rough and ready persona.

I haven't read the Tear Assunder series and I wished that I had before reading this book but it didn't detract from the story or my enjoyment and understanding of it, it just would have been nice to have known more about the characters around the perimeter of the story.

The story commences by telling the story of a vulnerable and sweet 16 year old girl, Georgie. It starts with the shocking news of the death of her brother brought to her by his friend and team leader, Deck. The pain Georgie feels is excruciating and the loss of her brother has an profound effect on her for years to come.

In later years, Deck is Georgie's constant shadow and protector but all Georgie wants from this brusk, hulk of a man is his love. Deck also loves Georgie but having promised her brother to keep his distance he is trying to resist the need to comfort her and to make her his.

"He scared me but what scared me more was my body’s reaction to him. The strange tingling between my legs, the warmth on my skin and the whirling in my stomach as if I was falling from the sky.

Great continuation from the Asunder series.
Although it's not imperative you read the others, it helps to understand the background of the characters. The chemistry between Deck and Georgie is perfectly balanced.
I can't wait for the next story. Kai breaks my heart, I want him to have a HEA.

I really wanted this book to live up to they hype. It was sometimes so confusing. I had to re-read parts because I didn't think it was always clear what was being said. What I thought was Deck and Georgie were not the same characters they were portrayed in the other books. Also the storyline went off on a tangent about Georgie and I didn't understand where that came from ... then Kai was in the mix but didn't realise who he was until much later then this elusive awful group that we didn't learn much about other than they did terrible things to others and so it went on with the confusing. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. I wish I had because in other books they had amazing chemistry and I didn't get that in the book. Then there was a silly typo that was 'bedside' instead of 'beside', which ordinarily I'd have not even noticed but because I was confused I did and that just annoyed me. 2.5 stars really not quite 3 such a shame, still one persons opinion others clearly don't agree!
