Compared to the other Percol coffees I have tried (which have all been a 3 strength rather than 4), this coffee has a muddy taste (not literally!). The flavours aren't as clear as in the Colombian or Guatemalan types. It is better when hot, but if I accidentally allow the cup to cool down it is pretty horrible. It is good enough that I'm working my way through the pack rather than throwing it away and opening a different coffee, but I probably won't buy it again.
Obviously coffee is a very personal choice and everyone's palate is different, but I would go for the Percol Colombian Arabica version every time, even if it is a few pounds more expensive.
It is ok, price is not bad but not the best coffee you can buy.
If coffee is important to your day, try it. It knocks spots off the ubiquitous nescafe, gold blend etc. and is far more drinkable than the stuff that comes from Italy or Holland, (which is probably stuff they wouldn't dream of drinking themselves.)
