He picked up his cup and realised that his tea had gone cold. He'd been sitting here for nearly an hour and had read the whole thing from start to finish.
Peter's tales were funny, touching, dark and strange. Short, sweet, and leaving him hungry for more.
So yes, he concluded. It worked.
Although it had ruined his tea.
