This is one of my favourite films.The plot centres around three female characters,Brigette Lin,Sally Yeh,and Cherie Cheung.They are all caught up in a revolution,whilst pursuing their own ideals.Brigette plays the daughter of a General,who is secretly in cahoots,with rebels ,who need her to steal plans from her father.She loves her father,but only does this to ensure a better future,for her country.I think Cherie Cheung is after a box full of jewels,and she's determined to get her hands on it.Sally Yeh plays a woman,only wanting to perform on the stage,but her own father ignores her,much to his final regret.The film's plot sounds complicated,but I thought it was great fun.There's a great sense of humour here from the Chinese,and the action sequences are superb.No CGI trickery needed here!All the stunt performers here,did a fantastic job,particularly the final scenes on the rooftops.Great fun,and well done!
