Very comfy. Only done one long as ride in them but no worries. Normally get some pain from my cheaper shoes due to a cramped toe box but not so with these. Such a good discount too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tri Shoe 1 Nov. 2012

I bought these shoes for my first 70.3 triathlon. I wanted a solid shoe that I could suffer in for 56 miles without socks and was easy to get in and out of.

Usually I wear an EU44, which I ordered and returned. My opinion is that these run a bit on the small side, but the size 45 fit perfectly.

The shoes performed flawlessly and while I had a few hotspots during the ride in my feet, loosening up the straps a bit while riding addressed that. I rode without socks and the venting in these shoes allowed my feet to dry quickly.

Overall I was really pleased with this purchase - enough to write a review, which I rarely do.

5.0 out of 5 stars TRI FLY SHOE A MUST BUY! 3 July 2012

Being a entry level triathlete, this shoe is worth every penny. It has great comfort in the soles and fits snugly when the strap is tightened down. Just make sure you purchase the correct size (this is really important)! Like other tri cycling shoes the straps make it really easy to get in and out of. For me, I adjust the front strap so it fits snug and use the large strap to actually pull the rest of the shoe comfortably snug. I usually ride between 100 and 150 miles each week coupled with some shimano spd clip-less pedals makes the long rides much easier and not to mention you get better power to the wheels. I should also point out that the shoes are durable they will last awhile they have rubber on the front and back so when you are walking around the bottom hard plastic doesn't get all beat up. Worth every penny, five stars!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Shoes but buyer beware 23 Dec. 2014

I read several reviews before buying these shoes and I agree with many of the postings - you should really listen to those who say these shoes are sized wrong! I wear a size 10.5 US and after reading the reviews I ordered a size 11.5 US - 1 full size larger than I normally wear in Asic running shoes and most dress shoes. When I tried them on, they were still about a half size small - I should have ordered a 12 US. I never wear a size 12 and this seemed ridiculously large for me but if you are a size 10.5 - I recommend considering the size 12 tri fly shoes. Because they are leather, I kept my shoes and I soaked the toes with hot water and put the shoes in a shoes stretcher - this works but they are still just a little small - I can bike without any pain but when I walk in them I can still feel that they are slightly small. I can now wear a little thicker sock but I continue to stretch them when they are in my closet. I love the look and feel of these shoes when I am biking. Also, I have a wide foot and they are designed for a narrow foot. This can be adjusted by the main top strap so this is not really a problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected! 19 Jan. 2014

I've not had such a comfortable cycling shoe before. The fitting is just so good. Do some research in order not to buy a wrong size. I wear a US 9.5/43 on Asics, US 10/44 on Nike, US 10/44 on Zoot Ultra TT and for this pair of Pearl Izumi FLY IV I bought a 44.5. The fit is just perfect! The heal cap is a perfect fit, its what I've been looking for in a tri shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Tri Shoe! 8 July 2013

These shoes are lightweight, fit great and are comfortable without socks. The single strap does a good job securing the shoes in place and is easy to manipulate in transition. As with my other pair of PI cycling shoes, I ordered one size larger. I definitely recommend this product.
