Charming stories well constructed. Glad I've finished them as I couldn't put them down. Wish they were a bit longer though. Look forward to the next few stories.

Kindle Unlimited, some of the same characters as Storage Ghost Murders by the same writer. Read a lot of her books, so sometimes every now and then seems like maybe something of the same sort but not exactly as another book but that is bound to happen or me to think it did.

This collection contains short stories: A Lonely Murder - A Slip And A Trip - Gossip To Kill For - A Dreadful Day Out - Left To Die
also available separately

Butterworth Mysteries, Storage Ghost Murder, Ghost Storage Mysteries, Julia Blake Murder Mysteries, Second Hand Ghosts, Ruby and Nessa Ghost Hunters, A Ray and Cain Mystery, Cara Daniels Cozy Mystery, others

These were okay but not as good as the storage ghosts. I wasn't keen on Derek as the hero and the relationship between him and Pearl was a bit off. A bit too low key for my taste but okay for a quick, easy read.

This is the second set of boxed stories by Gillian Larkin that I've enjoyed. Lovely characters and scenarios. I read in bed and can't wait to get there to pick up where I left off the night before.

Truly delightful set of stories that are very easy going. They did remind me of the 'Tales of the Unexpected' as they all had a slight twist in the tail. Pearl and Derek made a lovely couple and it appears to be giving Derek as second chance in his life. Hope this is the start of some more quiet and entertaining novels. Now that I have found out that these characters were in a previous book, will have to get that and read now............hope that it is as good as this set.

Addictive, funny, cleverly written and enjoyably entertaining stories which go down particularly well with either a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Love Pearl and Derek - an updated and elderly Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).

Do not underestimate Gillian Larkin's writing...it burrows right under your skin and you just have to read another one!

Really enjoyed the box set, not the greatest written masterpiece of our time, but something kept me reading, and I managed to do the whole five books in 2 days. Light, and in places very humorous, even though the genre surrounds Murder, Death, and Ghosts. Derek and Pearl are a great set of characters. And the box set was free.
