I'm Paul Nolan: author, teacher, parent - rarely in that order. After honing my writing skills on numerous school plays, I decided to take my pupils' advice, and write a story myself. That first book was Demons of Dunkirk -inspired during a Year 6 history lesson - and was instantly met with excellent reviews.
Agent Two Face followed a year later, receiving equally positive reviews. I still teach part time, allowing me to keep in touch with my clientele. Indeed, my pupils think that my books are 'the best in the whole wide world'. Clearly they know how to get extra house points!
Time is now spent writing, teaching and visiting schools, delivering creative writing and historical workshops. I love history (apparently I'm a distant relative of Sir. Walter Rayleigh) and through my books, I hope that my readers learn about the past, as well as enjoying an exciting adventure.
