I have tried joining in as one of the characters but it doesn't really work if you have to keep popping off to the kitchen. Again, not a problem if the rest of the suspects don't mind holding off for a few minutes while you're gone. Or if, as in my case you have a very helpful husband who works hard behind the scenes. It all depends on your preference and energy level but we've found that the best way is if my friend and I act as the hosts and look after the guests.
I spent a very long time comparing the numerous games and my advice would be that unless a game has only low ratings then just go with the one that you fancy. Everyone has different expectations and in my experience all of them are fun.
Easily one of the bests of all the murder mysteries I have done, buy and enjoy.
Everyone played their parts (including accents which improved after a couple of glasses of wine causing a lot of merriment). We all had a fantastic evening and have already purchased another game.
We had a great family night with this game for our anniversary, I don't think we ever stopped laughing.
Shame the same people cannot play again but will have to invite more friends next time.

It provided eight of us with a thoroughly entertaining evening; that turned out to be not just my view, as the host and instigator, but everyone else who was there. Read morePublished 8 months ago by Philip Hind Woodward
