5.0 out of 5 stars Fulfils my requirements perfectly.
    By Steve G on 29 July 2019
I bought this SSD for a very specific job. Recently, I bought an AcePC mini PC to use as a 24 Hour Emby server. At first, I used a 2.5” traditional hard drive but I intended to soon upgrade this to SSD. Speed wasn’t the only consideration as I required a drive that was less power hungry. Being on 24 hours a day, a few watts here and there can make a difference of a period of time.

Patriot is a well-known manufacturer, and so I was confident purchasing their 2TB SSD. Since fitting and testing the SSD I haven’t been disappointed. I’ve supplied a chart below showing the transfer speeds and while they’re not going to set the world on fire, they are pretty good. The write speeds are very good indeed.

This SSD should be a welcome addition to any computer with a large storage capacity. Laptops even more so because of the lower power consumption saving on battery power.

Overall, I am pleased with this SSD and fulfils my requirements perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well priced for a 2TB SSD with decent performance
By Darren R Moore on 20 November 2019
From left to right 1TB Samsung 970 EVO, 2TB Patriot P200, SanDisk 960GB SSD Plus, there is a big jump in 4K Q1T1 between the two SATA6 which is something you want to look out for rather than raw sequential speed as 4K Q1T1 is a typical workload like games loading etc and the P200 wins over the Sandisk by nearly 2x and is close to NVme Samsung 970. Well worth the upgrade at less than £170 for 2TB is really good value since all over 2TB SSD's are over £200.
