I enjoy cooking and spend a lot on herbs which is why I was interested in growing my own.
This is a short but concise book regarding how to grow 21 herbs....some mor difficult than others. It does what it says on the cover describing how to grow herbs from seed to reap the benefits of having a permanent herb garden available for the enthusiastic amateur cook.
It is aimed at the American market so as I live in Spain had to make allowances for this. For example I would not bother trying to grow herbs indoors with lights and warmth etc. Also some of the more difficult herbs to grow in the book....eg Lavender, Thyme and Rosemary....grow wild in abundance in my garden as natural plants....but other such as Corriander (cilantro) and Basil are more difficult to find.
An enjoyable read with some interesting facts......all the better as it was free!

This is an ok book but I found it a bit thin. Perhaps that is to be expected at the price but I should have spent more and got something more substantial.
