Let me start this review by saying that this story would have received a full 5 stars from me, had it not been for the Author's constant swapping of POV's. With three characters in this book, plus the odd side character whose POV she occasionally slipped into that's a lot of voices to swap between, especially without any indication of when these are about to happen. They were some other mechanical issues. At one point the heroine was called a completely different name, but that just made me smile. Besides, these things happen, and are no biggie, but the head hopping...
It spoiled what was a fantastic story for me. At one point, I almost stopped reading, because the head hopping was making me dizzy. Now, like I said this is my opinion, and it might not bother you at all, but if it does, do keep on reading, because the actual story was brilliant, and I'm glad at that point I was already invested in the characters and needed to find out how this all worked out.
And that's ultimately the reason for me leaving this review at all, because I normally don't like leaving reviews until they are at least 4 stars. The story was great, and deserved to be read. :-)
The heroine has an inner strength the reader can only admire, and the heroes are drool worthy. The author does a great job of showing what a true D/s relationship should be like, and the touches of humour throughout were something I really appreciated.
So, to summarize, a great story, well worth reading, mechanics not withstanding.
