An excellent well-structured book. A must for nursing students.
-- Chris Wheable
This book provides an essential guide for students at Plymouth University. From a choice of texts this was the book that received the most positive feedback from our students and we have now adopted this text into the module.
-- Mr Matt Carey
A highlight for me is that the reader is encouraged to complete a diagnostic test, which will assess the reader′s current level of mathematical ability. Following the series of diagnostic tests the reader is directed to the chapter that best suits their individual area of calculation, which requires development. The reader is provided with many scenarios and helps the reader to understand and recognise how the particular calculations are used in every day nursing practice. -- Julie Tracey, practice education facilitator, Northern Ireland
