Although a big fan of his, I'm a bit disappointed in how much Jazz influence has entered his music. The explosive sound of a flamenco guitar should not be producing laid back music for a cocktail lounge (in my humble opinion).
We've had this album a number of years and still keep coming back to it. The opening and closing tracks are probably highlights, but the whole thing keeps moving forward through different moods and tempi making the album a great listening experience. If you're a flamenco aficionado, you'll appreciate this but it's equally accessable to all guitarists and lovers of latin music.
