E.g. the 'garden' section shows only 4 plants per screen, with their names written in a font so large that most of the names are cut off. And that – despite having a limit on the number of characters in every plant's name, already. Or take the section listing your devices... this section for some reason does not show the photos of your associated plants, but rather shows an icon "add plant" (even when it knows that the device is currently associated with a specific plant). Hit this "add plant" icon, and you're entering a menu that doesn't even allow you any "cancel" option. The only way to go back without re-assigning your plant is to actually completely re-start the app, etc. etc. etc.
I hope that the team at Parrot either finally hires a full-time UI/UX developer with experience to take care of the app, or at least sells this product to a more enthusiastic company to take better care of the currently installed user base.
PS the light sensor also seems to be unable to recognise the special-purpose red/blue light that we use in the office to give light to our office plants: the "live" settings didn't even change when I turned the spotlights on. I was about to go to the official forum of Parrot to raise all of these issues, but guess what... boasting about 62K+ copies of Flower Power sold, the company does not even have a forum for its users there. What a shame, really.
It failed miserably and in 1 week and my plant died of sun burn!
I got in touch with the support desk who relayed messages between me and the development team. The answer I got was... "The temperature and light alerts are sent after a specific average of data. A 40° heat for 10 minutes during the day wouldn't average enough to send an alert. Especially when any data is offset by 10 minutes where it may now be cooler."
I replied saying that "If the device records temperatures exceeding the limits for several hours then there is still an issue somewhere." I gave them an exact example of where my plant had been subjected to a temperature of above 35° for over 5 hours!
The development team finally acknowledged my point and said they would look into future improvements.
***Currently the software analyses 7 days of data and only then sends an alert. If an intermittent event occurs no alert is sent.***
They said that I should keep an eye on the software updates release notes for any news.

The design is also quite beautiful and blends well with the environment. I consider the battery life so far as good-very good (but i am using it only for a month).
The flower database in the software has a wide variety of flowers and plants and the ability to be updated by the user.
A couple of disadvantages are: a) the bluetooth connection that it uses to send me the monitoring reports, means that I (or my phone) has to be close to the Parrot in order to receive the reports. That means no reporting over wifi, so no monitoring while you are away on vacation or short business trips. b) if you have an area with multiple plants, you will need multiple devices to monitor them since you specialize reports in one plant/tree/flower per device (it certainly could have reports per family of plants/trees/flowers per device).
