From the manufacturer
Powerhouse of Innovation
Without innovation, luxury falters. Since 1888, Parker has thrived through innovation, challenging the status quo in pursuit of the perfect pen. At a time when pen longevity was dubious and ink leakage prevalent, George Safford Parker set out to change the face of writing. From the revolutionary creation of the Lucky Curve fountain pen to one of the best-selling pens of the 20th Century—the Parker 51—to Parker’s quick-drying QuinkFlow technology, the talented teams of craftsmen and pen experts at Parker have dedicated 125 years to creating ranges of new, hybrid, sophisticated fine writing instruments, designed to delight you for a lifetime.
The Parker Jotter Collection
Refined excellence encounters convenient practicality. Convey a high level of sophistication with the iconic design of Parker Jotter pens. Ballpoint pens from the Parker Jotter Collection are configured with elongated barrels and clean lines to deliver a sleek, subtle design that caters to daily use with precise, smooth-flowing ink. A handcrafted metal ball at the tip delivers high-quality ink from the reservoir to your page with each movement of your hand. Create smooth, consistent penmanship in classic, vivid ink colours and smoothly retract the instrument upon completion. With a simplistic, streamlined design, the Jotter ballpoint is an essential tool for any active writer. Comfortably glide through on-the-go writing tasks with the trusty Parker Jotter, using its emblematic clip to keep the pen ready for writing at a moment’s notice.
- Simplistic, reliable design for everyday use
- Ballpoint pens deliver smooth-gliding penmanship
- Both fine and medium nibs available
- Stainless-steel construction and ink refill options for a long-lasting design
Everything you look for in a daily writing tool. Simplicity meets elegance with the Jotter’s retractable design and integrated clip that enable you to represent the iconic aesthetics of Parker writing instruments wherever you are.
Create exact marks that dry quickly to prevent smudging with QuinkFlow ink. Continuously flowing ink resists clogging to deliver pristine lettering without bothersome skips or leaks.
Made for prolific writers, the Jotter’s bold ink is deposited onto paper via a delicate metal ball with each glide of your hand. Stainless-steel construction combines with high-quality ink to ensure long-lasting reliability.

Parker's quality control would not let that go, so I'm guessing this pen is either a second or a poor copy of the original.
Either way it's not worth £8
Makes you think when John Lewis charge £23 for one of these.
Update, the ink cloggs together at the nib and leaves big clumps on the paper, leading to smudged work and ink all over your hands.
Very poor quality, definitely don't think this is a genuine product.
I use this pen on a daily basis at work, albeit not with the original parker in cartridge in it. I like the stye. It's a classic. It reminds me of when I was a child and my mum had a Royal Bank of Scotland cheque-book in a blue plastic wallet. Contained within was a Parker Jotter pen. It was her favourite pen, and I can understand why. It just feels right in the hand. The plastic barrel is comfortable. It's not overly hot or cold like metal can be. It is easy to grip, and just the right size.
The clip is useful, and the pop-up mechanism has a reassuring light 'clunk'. This is a marvel of design.
This particular pen has been in my possession for the last two and a bit years and is still going strong. Sure, it has picked up a few scuffs along the way, but the clip is still there, and there is not a hint of degradation in the pen mechanism.
I daresay I will lose it (probably to a light-fingered colleague) before it stops working.
It was not secured in the box, which was a shame, as I bought it as a gift. It was just rolling in its box. The image showed boxed with ribbon. Which looked neat & presentable.
The brushed silver look was ok with gold clip detail but it just seemed light weight.
The engraving of the Parker name was very poor. The pen was apparently made in France. I have decided to return this for refund. It was just not nice enough for a gift.
My dad used to have Parker and I recall them being far better quality & heavier.
You will get what you pay for.
Looking at other photos another purchaser also commented about the brand logo too being poorly inscribed.
I saw this after. But totally agree.
You too can look like Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye - don’t double click and put it in your pocket!
