The frog wants to know what it's like up where the giraffe is, but the giraffe can't hear what the frog is saying. So the frog jumps higher and higher and higher... onto the lion, the hippo, and the elephant.

The repetition makes it funny. A frog is trying to ask the giraffe a question, but she's so tall she can't see or hear him. He jumps repeatedly onto taller animals in order to get closer - but it doesn't work out!
We both laughed at the end, and I know that he'll want to read it again, gleefully anticipating the punchline.
I like the comic-style illustrations, the repetition, the chance to do silly animal voices. It's a short bedtime read, but enjoyable.
