Top Customer Reviews

Format: Kindle Edition
I LOVE Jami Brumfield's work, steadily working through all her titles & then she make one GIANT Boxset, with all her firsts of the series.... I'm going to add my reviews as I read the book.

Lost (Ghost Connection)....

The Beginning (PBI Case Files)....
I first read this book in the bundle, where I read the first four books together. In the beginning we first meet human sisters Sarah & Francesca (Frankie for short) heading out for a night on the town, helping Sarah get over an ex boyfriend. They head to Frankie's place of work, Devon's bar.... 1 too many drinks see's Sarah passed out & Devon taking care of her... finding out Para's are out there & Devon is a Vamp... cue the threat on their lives & a hunky were-bear Fang & we're all set. This is just the start, anyway no spoilers from me here... you'll need to read them all yourself.
I found myself HOOKED in almost immediately then episode 1, 2, 3 & 4 were finished, were did the book go?? I can't wait for the next episodes as Jami knows how to keep a reader entranced in her work, I find myself looking at her books for something else to read.

To Love a Dragon (Shifter Love Tales)....

The Witch's Vampire (Mystery Springs)....

Rayne's Thunder: Master Chef (Dating a Werewolf)....
I was quickly drawn into the story & couldn't believe it had finished when it did, especially with how it ended.
Rayne's world is rocked by the death of her father, the alpha, she heads home from college in time for the funeral & the reading of the will. Her father has a particular request of Rayne & her siblings, giving the an inhertance they'll receive ONLY if the are ALL able to find a mate & marry within the year. This is the start to Rayne's journey.

I really enjoyed reading this story, I think the growth Rayne is about to go through during her journey has already started to show. Thank goodness it's only part of of Rayne's story, I can't wait to read what happens next in not only Rayne's story but also in the series.

The Dragon's Succubus (Demon Fairy Tales)....
Book 1 in Jami's "Demon Fairy Tales" series, this is a stand-alone within the series, which is a good thing, as I've read this series back to front.
I especially loved the interractions between Alleyah & Connor, not forgetting the situation they find themselves in. I really enjoyed this fast-paced read & can't wait to read the next installment from Jami... also any other book I have yet to read.

Cherished Gift (Paranormal Hypnotherapy Files)....

Genie's Treasure (Magical Secrets)....

Lone Wolf Rising (Winters Saga)....

Death Interrupted (Vanished Series)....
'Death Interrupted' book 1 ofthe Vanished series, which is a spin off of Jami's PBI File Case series, more specifically episode 3 'Lost Plane'. I'm so glad Jami did a spin off for the people of Avalon Flight 370, because whilst reading 'Lost Plane' it left me wondering what happened in the future once they arrived.
This book is about Melissa, an almost divorced mum of 2 boys & Blake, a Lawyer being forced to marry someone through false accusations. Their journey from the airport, where they bump into one another & sparks fly, but not acted apon... to their journey in the future with the fellow humans brought forward to help populate the future human race & paranormal protectors.
I would advise reading the PBI File Case series first, as people & events in this book also show up in there. It would be easier to understand some of the characters better & their relationships in the future.
Thank you Jami for an enjoyable read, I was dragged into the story with so much ease on your part & didn't put it down until I finished. I can't wait for book 2 of this series.

Rayne's Thunder p1

This story was really good besides the quick part since it will be in installments. I love the characters and their personalities and how they gel as a family. When I read the blurb I thought that the siblings were three girls but I’m glad there is a male caught up in the stipulation also. The twist from the father is not fair but I think he had a sixth sense about people and what they needed even if they didn’t know. I can’t wait for the next part because the tension in that house is great.

PBI files episode 1
OMG! I have found one of the best books ever. The story had me turning the page so fast just to see what happens next. Sarah and Frankie are great spitfire sisters who don't take crap from anyone and don't let the unusual deter them. We also meet Devon and his team of crime fighters who consist of Fang, Karma, and Jasmine. This group dynamic is awesome and I can't wait to see what happens to them and Devon and Sarah’s relationship.

There are some interesting ideas in these stories, however, they are often very predictable. The writing is sometimes very stilted and there are many grammatical and syntactical errors. She really needs a good proofreader and a good editor. I do think the stories would be a decent read if they were properly edited. I used to receive many books to review prior to publication, and, I will admit, I have been wrong on one major occasion. I thought one of the books I received about 15 years ago was so poorly written that I was really astounded when the author's second book was published. currently, there are over a dozen books in the series, and it was made into a television show for a few seasons. So judge for yourself.

I received this bundle as a gift from the author. I had read a couple of Jami's books from the PBI series and enjoyed them. I joined her Facebook page where I got the opportunity to try this bundle. I expected to enjoy this group of first books of a number of series. And did I! She covered a lot of different series, from ghosts to vampires, witches to aliens and ancient gods and goddesses. There is a lot of different things to try, and if you can't find something here to like, then maybe paranormal isn't your thing, because I think this is a wonderful place for anyone to start.... Or to enjoy if they already know they like paranormal storytelling. And Jami is definitely on my To Read list.

I have read every story in this bundle of books by Jami Brumfield and I really, really liked them.

Each one tells a tale with its own storyline of danger, romance, intrigue, and hope. Some have Vampires, or shifters, or ghosts, or angels and demons, and even the gods of mythology.

Each story is wonderfully written by Ms. Brumfield and editted by amazing Michele Gwynn who is a fine writer in her own right.

This bundle of books deserves your immediate attention. Read and enjoy like many of us have for hours and hours of enjoyment.
