No stranger to Julie's writing, I was looking forward to this, the third instalment of her Greek Island Mystery series. I have to say this, like the other books, did not disappoint. It is beautifully written with such wonderful description. I have holidayed in Greece in years past and it brought back all the sights and sounds of those much enjoyed vacations. At times I could even smell the food! The way the separate characters, including Pandora, were interwoven into the plot as the book progressed was wonderful. Each has their own story to tell but at the same time are linked the others by murder and mystery. I loved the way the book is structured too. Julie teases you with one character, gets you to the end of the chapter with a real cliff hanger of a situation - and then when you turn the page into the next chapter you find yourself involved with one of the other characters. This is what keeps you turning pages - you just have to know what happens next. A truly great book - absolutely loved it and can't wait for Julie's next novel to be published.

Pandora's Prophecy is a romantic mystery set on a Greek Island. The book opens with an introduction to Pandora, a child who discovers she has the gift of prophecy, she can read minds and see auras.

Next we meet several characters who will all meet on the Greek Island. Lisa and Mark are setting off on a family holiday. Ruth and her friend Suzie are about to share a holiday too. Vicky is seeking answers after an argument with her mother. They all stay at a hotel run by Jenna and Nikos.

Pandora's brother Dimitri is an author and he's on the island finishing his latest book. But when bodies start turning up in a copy cat style to one of his books, the police are stretched whilst racing to find the killer.

Fans of Julie Ryan's writing will be pleased to see characters and settings from previous work return to this idyllic Island.

This review is based on a free copy of the book given to me from the author via Brook Cottage Books.

Those of you who may have read my reviews before will know that I give very little of the storyline away and this one is no exception. However, I only review books that I have enjoyed and I loved this one, firstly being drawn by it's location and then once I started reading, enjoying the suspense and the characters involved!

"Pandora's Prophecy" is a fast paced adventure set in Greece and involves an assortment of events that revolve around the mysterious "Pandora" who influences the other characters at various points in the story. As in the myth about Pandora, there is a box to be opened but in this case it is full of good, not evil! This book combines the mood and flavour of Greece with several mysteries that need to be resolved. In true Greek tradition, there is tragedy with a healthy addition of romance and complicated relationships. Friendship, love, marriage and death are experienced in this story; from the perspective of a recently separated woman , Ruth, who takes a holiday on the island with her friend, to a questionably happy married couple who are holidaying with their children. A Greek murder-mystery writer, wealthy local young men, a psychopathic nurse, policemen, a young girl searching for her father, and, a ghost, all add to the colourful characters whose lives become accidentally intertwined in the solving of their own personal mysteries. The characters become endangered when it is evident that a serial killer is active on this usually peaceful island and is somehow managing to keep one step ahead of the police as they attempt to outwit him.

This is Julie's third book in the Greek Island Mystery series and it can be read as a stand alone. This story is all about a girl called Pandora who as a child discovers she can read minds and see aura's, So she has the gift of prophecy. There are many more characters to come in this fantastic little story, which all link into the story. But then a tragedy happens and the police are called and it is a race against time to find the killer.

Couldn't wait to read this book, the third by Julie Ryan in Her Greek series and was not disappointed without a doubt. She has a charming, delightful and magical way of writing and keeping you mesmerised in her books. I really loved how characters from her two previous books came into this one. I cannot wait now for JULIES next book, and hope won't be long. Thank you Julie Ryan for your wonderful work.

I did find this book confusing at the beginning but gradually I was able to sort out how the characters overlapped. I then got to the stage I had to read as quickly as possible to find out how everything was going to be resolved. I would recommend this book. A very intriguing story with all sorts of red herrings.
