Nice headphones for the price with good bass response, and decent enough mid-range (could do with a tiny bit more treble I think). They're very comfortable around the ears too.

Please note that they do not include the in-line volume control as stated in the specification. It's possible that the spec has changed and they're no longer including the feature.

Every time I put these headphones on I cannot believe they were only 12 quid. 12??? How?! I've been using this range for 15 years, when it was still Technics, and after my last pair finally gave up after I stood on them, I purchased these, wondering if, as I had suspected, Panasonic would have ruined what was in my opinion, the best set of headphones on the market. Nope. They made them better.

These headphones are wonderfully comfortable and incredibly lightweight. But where they shine is the sound. The sound from these little babies is warm, rich and powerful. No matter how loud you like to listen to your music, they never shout at you. In fact, you'll lose your hearing before they let you down.

An incredibly good pair of headphones. Buy them!

Got these a few weeks ago and for the money,(what about £12?) these sound great. They sound exactly like my previous Technics which makes sense as Panasonic is Technics under another name. They give a great full sound with crisp highs and a nice bass.Maybe lack a touch of midrange. If you don't want to spend a lot of money I would definitly recommend these.

These headphones have comparable sound quality to a pair 3 times the cost. They are comfortable to wear and with a 5 metre cable you are able to watch TV without disturbing the kids!!

It's a no-brainer, if you want some quality headphones without paying through the nose ... buy these!

Out of the lot of headphones that I had just been through to find the perfect headphone, this was very close to the top.

These are solidly built headphones giving sound output that I've come to appreciate from Panasonic. Although they weren't perfect when it came to the absolute output along with base. For me it was a bit much. The mile long chord which could come handy was heavier than the headphone and it was completely impractical unless you want to use these indoors and use the full length of the wire. Cables coming from both end of your ears is not practical anymore. I've come to like & appreciate a single sided cable and two cables are something that i'm uncomfortable with. The ear-cups are covered with a material that's definitely not leather, could be a blend of Rexine. It felt soft on the fingers and ears, but I doubt if they would last very long.

For me the not-so-perfect sound could still be ok, given these are not AT's, but the two sided chord & the sheer weight of the length of the chord was the deal breaker. These were returned.

I use these to listen to mp3s and wav home studio recordings. Listening to Comfortably Numb's famous pinch harmonic they really put a smile on my face.

Of course they are not flat response phones so I don't use them for studio monitoring but for sheer listening pleasure at a really good loud volume they are fantastic.

I can't say the very long lead has been a problem for me (in fact it's ideal if I need it to stretch to my HiFi or computer at the other end of my living room whilst I lounge out on the sofa) but I can imagine that if you wanted to wear them out in the street you could end up trailing an assortment of debris behind you - not ideal. Upside is that if you wore them in bed your missus might think you were getting kinky as you flicked the excess lead across her.

The head band is not at all distracting and doesn't create a sensitive pressure point on top of your noggin over prolonged use. Very comfortable on the ear too which is fully enclosed by the cushioning. Sound leakage is minimal as I can attest. No more listening to the same 4 seconds of music over and over when my son wears them and tries to get an edit 'just right'.

Much better than the ear buds that were supplied with my Sony Walkman mp3 player which were presumably designed by a committee at the EU just to annoy me - they wouldn't surprise a budgie. These Panasonics though should be kept away from all winged domestic pets in case thy cause chest cavity damage.

And they're a good price. So they've probably been discontinued now.

I really only needed replacement earpads for my Technics headphones which seem to be the same basic model. After a fruitless search it turned out easier to buy a complete new set. Love the long lead. Will expect the earpads to perish in about 10 years or so...
