Poor mobile reception at home? The TGH260 cordless phone enables you to receive both mobile & landline calls. The built-in Bluetooth connects your mobile phone to TGH260 so that you can receive your mobile calls without any drop-outs anywhere in your house.
"Nowadays, mobile phones are an essential part of life. The ""Link to Mobile"" feature is a great way to take advantage of mobile phone convenience comfortably at home.
By linking your mobile phone and the base unit with Bluetooth®, you can make and receive mobile phone calls through a DECT handset.
What's Link to Mobile?
Up to two mobile phones can be registered to a base unit. Your mobile phone must have Bluetooth wireless technology that is compatible with KX-TGH26 series.
Advanced Answering System
"Catch answering machine calls whether you are at home or away
When a new message is recorded on the answering machine, the base unit can alert you with a sound.
When you are away, it can send an alert by a call to a preregistered mobile phone or office phone."
No Mobile Phone Signal Failure
By placing your mobile phone where signal is optimum, you can connect using the cordless handset clearly anywhere in your home.
Nuisance Call Block
Reduce unwanted calls such as telemarketers.
You can block any specified number, as well as any head string of 2 to 8 digits matching your specified numbers. The feature helps to reduce unwanted calls such as toll-free calls, and helps to keep your personal time from being interrupted. In addition, you can also block number less calls

First the pros. These phones work well as normal DECT landlines phones. Taking mobile calls and making mobile calls from the mobile handsets works well. They link well with my mobile using Bluetooth. The Bluetooth range is quite adequate to allow the mobile to be positioned well away from the base station. The mobile has a different ring tone to the landline so there is no confusion. Similarly there is no confusion when making a call as to whether the landline or mobile is being used because there is a ‘mobile’ option on the handset. I have also been able to use my existing DECT handsets with the old mobile-link base station and I can receive calls easily on those handsets. I have successfully been able to link two mobiles and this works well but it is not something I think I will need to use much if at all. The large capacity phone book is very useful and adding entries to it is easy.
I find the nuisance call blocker very useful. I still getting nuisance cold calls, but now they only ring me once, after that I block them
Now the cons. These are irritations rather than don't buy faults. I have been using Panasonic DECT phones for many years and have always found them easy to use. These handsets are easy to use but are overly complicated. They appear to have been designed by techies with no great attention to how most people use a phone. The handset should keep together the normal functions that people want to use all the time and keep these separate from the administrative and setup functions that are changed only occasionally. So why does the menu key take me to initial setup, ringer setup, baby monitor, time settings when all I that is required is the list of calls?
My previous Panasonic handsets had a button for the phone book and buttons for the call status. These handsets have a multi-function four-way selector with symbols that for the most part do not correspond to what function is being done. And these functions are mixed up with what can be selected by the soft keys.
The link-to-mobile models are only supplied with one, two or three handsets. I want to use at least four. I have gotten round this by pairing up my old DECT handsets but the old handsets only have basic functionality.
The handset cradle charge units have yet another connection lead that looks a bit like RJ11 connector and which is both different from previous Panasonic phones and different from the base station charger cable. So I have three incompatible types of charger – one type for the base station, one type for the new DECT extensions and one type for the old DECT extensions. They all do the same thing so why use three different connectors? And of course the old-style handset cradle will not take new handsets and vice versa although they are very similar in size and shape. The speakerphone volime is low. much lower than previous handsets.
In summary these phones work well, technical design and functionality are good, but they are let down by poorly designed user interfaces. They could be so much better at no extra manufactruring cost.
