I bought this card to replace an old fanless Asus GT 640. I'm very pleased with the performance, around 5 times faster than the old card on Cycles rendering with Blender, and it plays 4K 60fps video faultlessly with full hardware acceleration so there is minimal CPU usage. And despite the increase in performance, when running at full stretch it's slightly cooler than my old card, taking over 5 minutes of FurMark to get it to 90C.
Of course, potential purchasers of this card who want top performance need to ask themselves whether they really need a fanless card. In my case I do need something quiet as my PC is the heart of my home recording studio, but I'm also interested in 3D graphics and watching video. So given the current state of graphics card technology, I really I couldn't ask for a better compromise than this Palit card.
EDIT: Just out of interest I ran a DXVA utility and it told me the card was actually capable of rendering some 8K video formats with full hardware assist, although of course its physical video interfaces are limited to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160).
