Palden Jenkins is a humanitarian, historian and spirited thinker, known for his original perspectives, independent thinking and spiritual-political angle on things. Starting out in the 60s as a hippy (Liverpool and London) and student revolutionary (LSE), he's followed a consistent path ever since, living a very eventful life.
A historian and geopolitics buff, he has written several books, crafted many websites, spoken from many stages, broadcast radio programmes, created three educational ventures and been a community activist and leader. He now works for part of the year in Palestine's West Bank. In UK he lives on an organic farm in Cornwall, working mainly as a book-editor, webmaster and photographer.
Previous books have included Living in Time (1987), The Historical Ephemeris (1993), The Only Planet of Choice (1993) and Healing the Hurts of Nations (2003). His latest book Pictures of Palestine (2012) tells the story of his humanitarian work in Palestine.
