Simple to use, well made and highish refresh rates.
This arrived simply packaged in a cardboard box and inside you get the Switch, USB-A to Micro-USB Cable and Instructions. You do not need to do anything with this, other than plug it in. I have connected it to one of my 32” WQHD monitors via the Mini-DP port and am going to using it for testing DP devices. It saves me having to mess around trying to access the controls on my monitor, which are around the back.You have a single button on top and two bright blue LEDs, these show which side is in use. You just push the button to switch.Refresh rates are pretty good, with 4K@60Hz and 1080p@120Hz, making this a good choice for gamers and creators alike. There is the one caveat of the cables not being longer than 3M.With regards to the data transfer speeds, this is often referred to as the “theoretical” speeds since there are so many variables that can affect it and in day-to-day use you are unlikely to get that speed. This is not to say this is going to be slow.The all-metal casing looks well-made and so do the ports. It is small and compact, so not going to take up much desk space. Although, when I get my new desk set-up, I will mount it under my desk where I can still reach the button.The one area I am unable to comment on is the medium to long-term reliability.At £19.99 it does look to be reasonably priced, although 8K versions are not much more and would likely prove more futureproof.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful.     Does not work, computer shows bios screen through the switcher but as soon as windows is booted its all black and no monitors detected. (even manual setup of new device not working).

    Be aware it does not say it is not compatible with Windows, which is probably the most common use case for this device.

    Quite a basic splitter converter that I use for work to work between my monitor screen and laptop.

    It does the job and I have no complaints.

    This cable splitter brings you the ultimate visual experience and high-speed transmission without delay, allowing you to enjoy maximum resolution.

    PWAYs display port switch supports 4K@60Hz, 1080P@120Hz resolution, 21.6Gbps high speed transmission rate, simultaneous transmission of audio and video, 5V voltage input, and the images displayed by the monitors can be switched by pressing the DP switcher.

    Simultaneous display of two monitors is not supported when two monitors are connected, only 1 monitor will show the image. The recommended cable length should not exceed 3 meters and audio and video transmits with no delay. A blue light can be seen on top of the splitter which shows which monitor is in use.

    The package comes with a user manual but there is not many details that you need to read about because it’s easy to use, just plug in to your monitor and you are good to go.

    All in all, the product looks sturdy and is very convenient to utilize your PC for work and gaming.

    I got hold of this product so I could feed two different video sources (MacBook Pro and Window computers) into a single monitor. I wanted to be able to switch between these two sources nice and quickly without having to muck about with the monitor's controls, selecting the source that way.

    Unfortunately, when I asked this unit to switch sources, it took for an absolute age before the video signal was recognised by my Dell monitor. So much so, that the monitor would switch into standby and wait for a good 30 seconds before realising there was an input and switch on again. I'm happy to accept that this might be the fault of the monitor, but equally, it could be this unit.

    Either way, be warned. This was particularly the case when switching to the MacBook Pro source (2018 model), though my Dell laptop (2022 model) was also slow.

    This unit had such promise, and for the price, it seemed very reasonable. But unfortunately it just didn't work in my case. Your mileage may vary. Thankfully, excellent Amazon customer support allowed me to return with no quibbles.
