With respect is ganging up on him helping you at all? If he wants a police presence there then what's the harm? All he is doing is informing others that if you want a police presence there for peace of mind then ring them, if you don't what's the point in arguing with a guy that does?

who the **** is this dude??? he tells people they are failures and then proceeds to have a breakdown AT the same time as wanting to be patted on the back for giving away items of clothing.. it's so funny how it's always these 'self-worthless' boys/girls who are very smart worded over a keyboard and don't hold back their tongue but your constantly paranoid and frightened - 'HELLO GUN - HERE IS THE AMMO' - i don't believe in Karma myself, but you Callum should definitely look in to it

I thought its a joke .. but than .. I'll be having friends over next week, we might have few drinks and they will be leaving late, should I call police and ask them to escort them to their homes ? (since it's dangerous to be outside after midnight). They might have some money and credit card in their wallets ...

I'm sorry Callum, but this is the most ridiculous thing I've red here on Amazon forum for very long time, police supervising PS4 sale :)

One thing I learnt Callum, while doing charity work in Bolivia, was do not put yourself in situations that make you uncomfortable or put you at increased risk. You are clearly worried, which is why you called the police, and you are letting your excitement at a console launch cloud your judgement. We'll done for the good stuff you do in your area, a lot of your generation really are a waste of space and are also the ones who are most likely to be causing trouble at a launch.

Calum people will jump on your back a troll you the moment you say something they don't agree with, the virtual world brings out the worst in some people.

HAHAHA you want to go to midnight lauch for ps4 - END OF !! no self confidence BS - you're gonna pay £350-£600 to TRY and help with self confidence when right this SECOND you can put the keyboard down and go outside and MINGLE - and it wont cost jack **** (unless you give your coat, hat, gloves and scarf away again)

Sorry Callum, some of the comments here have now got horrid if you do have an issue. I would say get help and dont spend too much time gaming. There must be loads of.charities In Sheffield that would be looking for volunteers, that would be a really good way for you to meet people like you who care and give you a way to build confidence. Anyway, that is a whole different conversation.

Bit of a diff between being too scared to leave the house, and feeling the need to request police attendence to monitor a queue outside a shop during a midnight launch of a console don't you think? :)

In reply to an earlier post on 23 Nov 2013 15:40:12 GMT
Nope haha

I think Calum was trying to highlight that the midnight opening could encourage criminal activity, part of the police's job is crime prevention, and yes the police do care about that.
I don't know Calum but he certainly sounds like a caring person and not sure why some people on here fly of the handle and rant like they do, not just on this topic.

(of a police force) have the duty of maintaining law and order in or at (an area or event).
"a ten-point plan to improve policing"
synonyms: maintain law and order in, keep the peace in, keep guard over, keep watch on, watch over, guard, protect, defend, patrol, make the rounds of More
control, keep in order, keep under control, regulate

And you can't see the obvious when it is right in front of you and a dozen people all point it out to you. Pretty sure you have managed to offend at least one person in the last few days, but sure you won't accept that either.

You'd like to start that again, Calum has gone and you need someone else to vent your spleen on, crack on if you like. I'm listening

N. Harman says:
Erm, crack on with what? You have been proven wrong by multiple people but just refuse to accept it. You also ignore that.Calum and I actually reached a civilised conclusion. But you have your own truth and reality while the rest of us have the real one.
