Save up more money and go for a more expensive sport- or smartwatch.
Also, no means of reporting this defect in the Amazon backend doesn't make this my best shopping experience either.
Have used it for treadmill running and walking.
Works well, although the GPS function can take a little while to connect.
The screens have customisation through the polar app, you have the option of displaying 2 readings over up to 5 screens. The app works well and the watch has to be set up and synced with it. I use my iPhone and Bluetooth. It's very effective.
There are hundreds of sports profiles to choose from which can be customised and uploaded to the watch by the app. The HR monitor seems to be accurate as is the GPS which is really useful when tracking walks, which hope will later become runs. I've just used it to measure what I do, as only treadmill running right now but is very good to see duration, level of activity (mild, demanding, very demanding).
Plan to let it dictate my runs, when back into road training, based on my HR after I've set the training plans up on the app.
Plus point which I did not realise is that when I receive phone calls on my phone the watch notifies me, which is good when away from the phone.
I tend to wear it a night and it monitors how much sleep I get, which is good to see.
I tend to wear the watch all the time, as a watch, and it is comfortable, but can be "bulky" and the rubber around the watch face can get caught on clothing,...

Update: The connecting device at the back has now broken off. It always looked very flimsy. I've downgraded my review accordingly.
Update 2: the watch has now completely broken.
