I run at least 3-4 times per week, and this watch has been awesome to run with. I have exactly tested out all of it's features just yet, but I find it easy to use and the GPS is fairly quick to connect! I've found the GPS to be quite accurate in tracking the miles I've run, however, I'm not 100% sure of it's ability to track my altitude (I just really haven't looked in to it).
The start-stop on this watch is a bit disappointing, because you have to press and hold the button for at lest 3 seconds to end you workout. So if you're looking for a watch to track your shorter runs (ie: sprints and short intervals) this is definitely not the watch for you.
The battery life on this watch isn't the greatest, but before this watch I had running watches whose batteries you never really needed to be changed, so that's really all I have to compare it to. I have to charge it at least once a week (running 3-4 times with an average 1hr/run), but it doesn't take that long to charge up, and then in the mean time it'll hook up to your PolarFlow App and show you all sorts of details about you run.
I especially like the PolarFlow App (you need an more updated iOS version for apple phones... I couldn't use it with just my iphone 4). It's amazing the amount of information that you can receive with this app and it'll definitely keep you on target if your running goals include increasing your distance, running faster, and losing weight.
One this I really like about this watch as well is that it's not as bulky as some of the other GPS running watches I've seen. It's pretty sleek in design and it doesn't feel like it'll weigh your arm down! I'm not a huge fan of the extremely long, wrist band... this is coming from a guy with pretty small wrists.
I was running before with Endomondo and Strava app on my phone, I switched to that watch and i really love it.
Very accurate. Polar flow is very handy application, but if someone want still use other applications to store training data i recommend to use SyncMy Tracks application on android phones. It very easy to transfer all data between Polar flow, Strava, Runkeeper or Endomondo in both directions.
great watch but poor charging design which doesn't last - avoid.
Love the functionality for running and cycling, HR, cadence, speed etc all great.
The last one lasted 9 months before the microUSB in the watch, old style with the rubber stopper, stopped working. This one is the new style without the rubber USB stopper. I trust it lasts longer.
Awaiting for POLAR to respond to warranty claim, in the mean time I am 2 weeks out from a trail 1/2 marathon and can't afford to loose the training info..

But very disappointed with the heart rate monitor, as the strap has eroded within 6 weeks.
The strap is now useless.
