It is rated A for all ages. (although it obviously contains some violence)
I would recommend reading the previous 2 volumes before reading this one.
Volume 3 starts of with the continuation of Black vs N from the last volume. We find out a bit more about N but there are still lots of questions to be answered. After that, Black and White head to Striaton City to challenge the gym leader. Whilst in a restaurant, Bianca and Cheren find Black and tell him that their Pokedexes are broken so he has to be careful with his. Striaton City has 3 gym leaders; Cilan, Cress and Chili (as seen on the cover). This gym dedicates itself to teach trainers about Pokemon types. The 3 childhood friends, Black, Cheren and Bianca team up and a 3 on 3 battle takes place!
This manga keeps on getting better! It has been a while since I completed the game so it feels like I'm playing it again but this time I don't have to do anything! Bianca is as annoying as ever. I don't know how Cheren puts up with her. She does learn a little in this volume though so she can only improve!
N also appears at the start of this book. He is my favourite character so I couldn't give this manga anything less than 5/5. I personally agree with everything he says but Black's argument against him also sounds fair. Some Pokemon choose to fight and they enjoy it. When I get my own Pokemon, I'm going to let it choose if it wants to fight or not. Hopefully I'll be a great trainer! Huh? What do you mean it isn't real? Don't ruin my dreams!
Anyway, this series is a great read for any Pokemon fan! Whether you have played the games or not, it's very easy to understand. The art is excellent, especially in this volume, you can see N's emotions really clearly. To those not familiar with manga, it reads right to left. There is a short explanation on the back page if you get confused with this format.
