Really liked how Brady had to do some chasing to get Harlow to agree to even date him! This has some fun laughter and some hot times too and with a small twist in the story it has all you need for a great book!
So looking forward to whatever you bring out next!

'Someday you'll meet a girl who'll knock you on your a** and you won't even know what hit you'
I had the privilege of reading an ARC of this latest story from Jacob, and yes it is a bit different from his previous works, and I really enjoyed this from beginning to end-and would love to read more from these characters(no pressure or anything!)
As the book blurb gives an idea of the concept-Brady is the Quarterback of the college football team, and used to getting who he wants, (the Prologue has him with a nameless woman, who is forgotten as soon as he's done with her!) As the story unfolds in DUAL POV's we get a good mix of football detail(not overly done)plus some great side characters -his buddy's Nick and Zeke(who provide some hilarious banter),when Brady meets Harlow,I liked how their relationship developed, before reaching the HOTNESS,which is well written, there's also a little twist I didn't see coming, but I won't go into much more detail on that as you'll find out when you read Penalty for yourselves!
While at a party with her friend Raine Harlow quite literally bumps into the one guy who makes her heart race with just a look – Brady. And from the look he is giving her from that moment on she has to restrain herself from just falling into bed with him or to her knees. Something you know he had every intention of happening after being with her for just a few moments. She doesn’t want to be just another one-night stand though. He’s the type of guy her father warned her about so she knows she has to leave. She may pretend she doesn’t know him to begin with – something our bigheaded sportsman can’t seem to get his head around – but that’s more to do with self-preservation with having a very hot guy flirting with her, shocking her to no end. She can’t believe he would really be interested in her but she’s about to find out he is very persistent. She has caught his eye and is on his mind pretty much from then on. Seems he thinks she is playing hard to get but once he starts chasing her he realises he doesn’t want to lose her. He has every intention on keeping her and for more than one night. She might have created her own assumptions about him from his passed antics but he is all about getting her to see the real him. They seem to balance each other out, opposites attract and all that. Sizzling chemistry from the get go that gets hotter the longer they are together. Seems resisting temptations makes it that much sweeter when you finally get what or rather who you have been craving.
Thought their friends were fun when they where around. Found Cameron to be a massive a****hole, he deserves what he gets. Have to say I had a feeling that Brady’s choice at the beginning would come back to bite him in the arse in the end. Cindy, Harlow’s stepmother, is just the b**ch from hell. Her confession at the end left you wondering WTF, so I think here could have been developed a bit further but glad how it all worked out. Good read though so you should definitely check out what else the author has done.
I received this ARC from Give Me Books for my honest review.
Author: Jacob Chance
Genre: Contemporary Sports Romance
Author Jacob Chance is back with another great book, this time following Brady and Harlow.
Brady's your stereotypical quarterback he's gorgeous, popular and cocky with a well-earned reputation as a bit of a player who sets his sights on Harlow the shy, quiet dedicated student.
I enjoyed the way Chance portrayed the relationship between Brady and Harlow how they went from strangers to lovers. I liked how we got both the H and h's POV, I'm a fan of Chance's style of writing he certainly knows how to write a sexy alpha who loves a bit of dirty talking which is exactly what we get with Brady.
If you like a sports romance football in particular then this one's for you I highly recommend it.
