- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 February 2019It is what they say it is
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 April 2019All worked first time, and seems reasonably accurate. The clock is not radio controlled, and therefore it must be set manually.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2019Great easy to use
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 March 2011I got this just over a month ago to measure the wind-speed and direction at the top of an 8 storey building (University project to determine viability of a wind turbine). Looking at results closely, I found that the cardinal points (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) are favoured over the in-between directions (NNE, etc.) For casual interest, this doesn't make any difference, but this kit isn't up to the task I wanted it for. There are clearly things wrong with the data.
Also, 100m signal range? I don't think so. It's intermittent even at about 15m. So much for setting up the base station in the professors office!
To be fair, the other data gathered so far seems to be reasonable. One glitch of 180mph winds.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2010Solar recharge great Give it a full charge to start off with helps. All works well... BUT ...make sure you can get at the rain gauge as will need cleaning.. so 20 feet up a pole not so good if you can not access it easly..

Rudolf SReviewed in Germany on 21 September 20125.0 out of 5 stars Station OK etwas billiger Aufbau

J.R.Reviewed in the United States on 27 January 20165.0 out of 5 stars This is an awesome station for a really low price.
I have a friend in Norway that has almost the identical station. He has had his for 5 years now and it still works perfectlly. I am still working to master all the "features", but I am getting there. This device DOES work perfectly with the SandySoft Cumulus program (free) and when coupled with the SteelSeries Gauges, you can build one AWESOME weather website page. My one on only interaction with PCE was truly a wonderful experience. I thought there was something wrong with the calibration on my temperature sensor. But it turned out to be the sensors I was comparing it to were wrong. And you can't possibly go wrong for the price.
UPDATE: I am still sticking with my 5 star rating, but I have had some issues recently. It took me a while to figure out why I was losing connection between my computer and my PCE Console... and I am now pretty sure it is a water/moisture problem. When we experienced VERY heavy rains (which isn't all that unusual for Florida), the console would lose sensor contact and my computer software would freeze up on me. I had to reset everything, but then it worked fine again. I thought initially that the problem was a signal strength problem... so I moved the console closer to the sensors. Same problem a few days later so I moved it again... same problem. Finally I have it directly below the weather station and when it disconnected the next time I decided the water WAS the problem, but it was not signal strength. I am now pretty sure water was getting into one or more of the RJ-11 connectors and causing a transmission problem. As soon as things dried out, all was well. I have now coated ALL of the RJ-11 connectors with dielectric grease to prevent water intrusion. Unfortunately, we haven't had any gully washer rain storms lately to check out my work. But that won't last.

Hasan Ates ErimReviewed in Turkey on 17 June 20205.0 out of 5 stars Fiyat performans ürünü

fyffoReviewed in Italy on 3 December 20165.0 out of 5 stars molto chiara ed attendibile
