My laptop battery was only giving me about 40% of its design charge (About 1hr) and my PC warned me to replace the battery. Instead of replacing like for like I went for this higher rated battery (based on Amazon feedback reviews). I am delighted with it. As it was new I recycled it as advised (by internet writers) down to 7% and back to full charge. It is a pity it did not come with any instructions for doing this or how to install it. Otherwise it would get 5 stars. I am brilliantly getting about 5 hours on battery with moderate usage. The battery is larger than my previous battery (I presume in order to provide the extra capacity) and raised the back of the laptop by about 3cm. However this is an improvement as it makes using the keyboard easier and improves cooling. The manufacturer has realised that your laptop may now not rest on the existing feet and provided suitable rubber pads as feet on the battery. It is a tight fit in my laptop case but gives a great performance. John
As others have mentioned, the battery is big, sticking well out from the laptop casing, However, again, as said, this does act as a stand giving a useful tilt to the keyboard. On fitting, it didn't click smoothly into the slot as the standard part, and is clearly not as good a fit. Out of the box, the battery had a 50% charge which gave an impressive 3hour plus running time. However, after a full charge (as per the supplied instructions), the displayed running time is still only 3.5 hours. That's not much different (if memory serves me well) to what the standard battery gave when new, but much better than the 45 mins that it currently gives. In all, its ok, not as good as I would have hoped, but the real test is how it fares over the next 12/36 months.
The battery arrived promptly, but had been dropped over the 6 ft back gate damaging the outer packaging, the inner packing had done its job, but I was not pleased. I don't hold the seller responsible, but as for the carriers! As for the battery, it is as advertised, I don't have the issues with the extension that others seem to have, and the build quality looks to be up to OEM standards, probably made in the same Chinese factory, I have given it 4 stars because its useage time does not seem to be any longer than the OEM lower capacity battery, but is far better than the half hour that the old one had dropped to. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably.
Purchased one of these for my laptop it didn't last the 4.5 hours stated on the reviews it lasted about 2 hours so I contacted the seller who said it must be faulty & sent me out a replacement this one lasted 3 hours before charge needed. Nice helpfull seller just a little dissappointed about battery life.
The battery arrived quickly and it works just as expected. I was however slightly displeased when the little rubber feet on the bottom of the battery, which replace the rear rubber feet of the laptop because the battery sticks out a good few centimeters, peeled off after just a few days. This is a bit of an issue for me as it makes the laptop less stable on a flat surface like a desk and can cause it to slide about. I have to find a way to stick them back on now and frankly this shouldn't be a problem a user should deal with, that's why I knocked a star off the review. Otherwise it's a good battery.
The battery life of my emachines (Acer) E730 laptop was never brilliant and had deteriorated so much that for the past 6 months it was unusable without connection to mains. This battery replacement with extra capacity has transformed it, so that the laptop is now genuinely portable with about 3 hours use. On receipt, I was relieved to find the battery clicked into position, but the shape is slightly thicker, (which I hadn't expected) and so the laptop now tips forward slightly. This is no problem for me but might prevent some users from fitting it into their storage case.
The original battery for my eMachines laptop only gave 2 hours max which meant always having to carry the charger. When looking for a replacement I checked eMachines and they only did a direct replacement and were expensive. I was surprised when I came across this one on Amazon as not only did it hold the charge an extra 4 hours it was cheaper. I am normaly wary of such deals but this time took a chance which turned out to be right. The battery is larger and heavier but it's design aids typing as it raises the rear of the laptop slightly. A full charge can last 6 hours making the need to carry the charger all the time unnecessary. I couldn't find anyone supplying a battery for my laptop which holds the charge as long and for the price, money well spent. The original eMachines battery died almost exactly 12 months after purchase and was charged as much as three times/day, this one gets away with being charged once so lets hope that's reflected in how long before I need to replace it.

Arrived within time frame, seems to be working ok. Update November 2015, fully charged time period has dropped to 2.20 hours, in daily use, at the start it was over 3 hours when new. now 17th November 2015, now only showing 1 hour 53 min when fully charged, so the charge rate is dropping daily, not good !
