To switch on- simple touch your finger to the two metal pins on the front of the LED light panel. To switch off, touch the 2 pins again. The rear panel has 2 x self adhesive pads , for easy installation. With 4 bright white LEDs you can expect around 100 hours illumination from each set of 3 x AAA batteries (not included), before they will need to be changed. So far, the sticky pads supplied seem very strong (at least they haven't failed yet!) and easily hold the light with the batteries installed. I did stick it up without the light for 24 hours first to help the glue hold. The batteries fit in the light part so there's no craning your neck at a funny angle to change them...simply take light light down by sliding sideways and access is easy.
The real beauty of this is the on/off being 2 prongs that you simply touch. They work well and it means you don't have to fiddle at all...ideal for under the kitchen cupboard. I am very impressed with this item and hope it lasts many years.
The Touch Light is about 17cm long and contains four powerful LEDs which are inset in a swivelling reflector covered by a clear cover - this means even if the lamp is installed on a flat surface you can direct the light where it is needed most - the swivel is about 70 degrees to the front or rear, and, of course, the light can be set to vertical or anywhere in between. Power comes from 3 AAA cells (not supplied) which are easily installed behind the sliding rear cover. Fitting the light is by means of two substantial 3M branded adhesive discs which stick to most surfaces semi-permanently and, if needs be, they could readily be replaced.
The light is switched on by simply touching the sensor on the lens (which is quite visible) - touch it again and it goes off. The light output is excellent and it illuminates right into the corners of my crowded technology cupboard very effectively indeed.
I really like this product because of its tasteful design, easy installation and operation plus the powerful light it emits. Recommended.

Easy to use, well-built, and pretty powerful. I only started using them, so I don't know how long the batteries will last. Read morePublished 3 days ago by TomBomb
