The paper is thicker than normal and we haven't had any problems with our kids using it. There are some nice paintings/images in the book and it would make a lovely present.
The choice as to which poems to include will always be subjective but we loved the broad range of poems, styles, ages and sizes.
A great book.
A bit old perhaps, but a collection she can grow into.
If you had eight stars and she was rating it she would have ticked them all. Every time she visits me she has found something new.
