I am delighted and could not recommend them enough.
Test 1 - The Gym. I should start by stating that generally I am a person who struggles to keep earbud style headphones in, regardless of their size, shape or method by which they attach to your ears. Therefore I was pleasantly surprised when I tried these out for the first time on the cross trainer. They wedged in nice and snuggly, all external sound was pretty much silenced and they survived the whole 30 minutes without falling out! I'm fairly certain this is one of the first times this has ever happened.
Test 2 - Out for a Run. After the success of the gym, I had great hopes for an outdoor run. Sadly, it didn't pan out quite so well. After a mile or so, the left earbud worked its way out and thereafter, the rest of the run was spent plugging it back in every few minutes. Frustrating, I'm sure you'll agree, but I believe this might come down (in part) to the t-shirt I was wearing. It sounds a little stupid, but it's like the cut of it prevented movement of the wires leading to unnecessary `tugging' which wasn't caused by the previous t-shirt. I think a simple clip attached to the wire might solve this and is something I am investigating.
Test 3 - The Swimming Pool.Read more ›
Sound quality is quite good (when dry)
DOESN'T stay on very well when underwater
One of the headphones stopped working after a while, extremely annoying when you're trying to swim and listen to music
It works great if you want to listen to music whilst showering, but not really suitable for swimming where you have to submerge your head.

I bought these thinking they would encourage me to swim more. Although they are waterproof, you can't hear anything through them underwater. They are basically a waste of time.Published on 16 Feb. 2012 by Mackenzie
