Format: Kindle Edition
This new light novel from Elke Becker fulfils, what Cover and title are promising: pure entertainment. Especially I like very much the contrast between the new life of Eva in a metropolis town like London to the enforced return into this very little town.
Normal things you have, when you are living in a huge town (like a high-speed Internet-access) will turn into a big and complicated problem in this idyllic village and for this as well funny. How Eva fights with the very old lawn mower of his father is hilarious.
The writing style of Elke Becker is pure fun and fits perfect the content of this novel, which brings you some entertaining hours away from the daily business. A book to recommend not only as a holiday book to read at the beach.

This was an ok read, but not one I'd want to keep. There were too many Americanisms in it for my taste, such as the word gotten. This just irritated me as the book was set in Germany and London. The plot was very light and predictable.

Story maybe ok basic chick lit but the appalling translation reduces it to bad teenage fiction. Reads like a German person speaking English.
