Fits plenty in there
The cold frame was easy to assemble and I added some silicone sealant around the edges of the glazed panels to keep the water out. It comes with some stain already on it, but I gave it an extra coat of weather proof paint to be sure. The frame is light weight so I screwed a small bracket on 2 of the corners and secured it to the concrete, as shown in the photo. Pleased to say it withstood 65mph winds perfectly. The lid has a catch on either side to hold the lid open, generally I find I only need to secure the one in place. The catch is also sufficient to keep the lid closed during strong winds, just so long as you tighten the wing nut. I was pleasantly surprised how many seed trays I could fit in there, 6 plus room for 12 small pots. Only slight negative to remark on, is it still gets some moisture between the layered glazing, despite the silicone sealant. Nothing much and it does evaporate over the course of the day. Also a slight crack in the end of one of the wood frames but not enough to affect its use. I am happy with the quality for the price I paid, and I will buy another one.
