Format: Audio CD
A truly great album spanning many genres and lyrical styles. I particularly reccomend 'Blue', which was my favourite track for about three years when I was younger :-). This may be of particular interest to fans of rock as I believe 'Hell is for Heroes' were raised, phoenix-style, from the ashes of Symposium. Ignoring that, this is a great album on its own merits, and, although it misses Symposium's best track ('Fairweather Friend'), there is not a dud track to be seen. Worth investing time in.

Symposium took a more mature and adult direction with their second album, and it lacks some of the energy that made "One Day At A Time" so great. Songs like "Way", "Nothing Special", and the single "Blue" are more mellow than anyone would've expected. There's still the pure emotion they do so well, but in these songs it's a different emotion. "Impossible", "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" and "The Answer To Why I Hate You" are more upbeat, plus the bonus track is live favourite "Disappear". It probably appeals to a different set of people to the first album, but there's nothing wrong with trying something different and it's not nearly as bad as 3 Colours Red's attempts at "adult rock".
