5.0 out of 5 stars Love this series 12 Aug. 2013

"At some point we all have to choose - do we fall back on what we've always done, or do we step forward to something new?"
Nick is a guy who loves to play soccer, party, and sleep around. He loves his life and finds himself in a different situation where he can't help but have feelings for Chelsea.

Chelsea is stuck in a rut when her house catches on fire and is homeless. When she goes to Nick sees that there is another woman at her house and realizes shes got nowhere to go. When Nick finally finds her, he offers her to stay at his place for a while. They eventually end up being friends which is new territory for Nick. Chelsea is slowly falling for this player Nick and knows she can't get too close because he is a love'em and leave'em type of guy and she isnt that type of girl. Will Nick eventually tell Chelsea how he feels before he messes up again?

" We tend to fall in love the same way we get sick: without wanting to, without believing it, against our will and completely unable to defend ourselves. It was bound to happen - Even to you."

I'm trying to figure out which book is my favorite, it goes between Part of Me or Out of My Element. Hmm. I think this book is my favorite, I liked Nick and was surprised that he would find love and liked his character. No matter what he did, he always seemed to find himself in trouble or at a misunderstanding making him look bad. He was a guy who was conflicted used to his old ways but didn't find joy in it after Chelsea. I loved this book was two point of views I got to see just how out of their elements they were going by being around each other and learning how they were changing. I loved the chemistry between the two characters.

"You're worth fighting for. And if that means I have to break somebody's face, then so be it."

Like the other books this was a fun, quick and easy read and I enjoyed all the book in this series. All the books were very predictable but sweet and interesting nonetheless. Highly Recommend this book and the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!!!! 4 April 2013

Out Of My Element was a great book. If you are looking for romance this is the book for you. It is the third book in the Philadelphia Series. The first book is In My Arms. The second book is A Part Of Me. And now this book. You do not have to read the other two books they can stand alone but I would. You get to meet each of these amazing characters in their own book. And you will fall in love with each and everyone. This is such a great series and the author is totally and absolutely amazing. So Out Of My Element is about Nick he is a guy who likes to have fun with no strings attached and everyone knows this until he meets Chelsea. I don't like reviews that give to much away so all I am saying is read this book you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Out of My Element (PS #3) 24 July 2013

Told myself so... ! I stated in my last review of the second book of this series, that I hoped the third which I had already had, was about a certain supportive character... I'm correct! SCORE! I was super excited when I started it and then BAM bingo baby!

I was ecstatic about Talia and Tom but I had no idea it could get better with Nick and Chelsea. Although I do not remember anything about a Chelsea from the previous two books, I still fell in love with her. She was just... I don't know, a down to earth kinda girl. Loved how she fit in so well with the five friends, especially the first and second main characters (Ava and Talia.)

As with the previous two books their story was "uniquely their own." Out of all of the guys I think Nick is my favorite. He was more of a weenie than I thought he would of been but not too chicken were your like, and I'm loosely quoting Weenie the Pooh- "Oh bother." He's not hot or too cold, just right! They also go from back and forth POV's of both main characters (Nick and Chelsea) like the previous books! They are written well, like I've said before from my previous reviews of the last two.

And of course, last but not least. I would recommend this short series of books. I just wish there was MORE! *COUGHS* Taryn *COUGHS* *Mumbles- "Write more books!"*

4.0 out of 5 stars Great ending to a trilogy! 2 Jun. 2013

This was my favorite of the three books because of the main character being Nick. From book 1 he was one of my favorite characters because of his snarky comments. I was so glad he ended up with his own story! I really enjoyed Chelsea and Nick's story. It had a little less steaminess than the other two but it was appropriate considering their stories. I want to be friends this group! They are so much fun and so supportive of each other! I love that we learned a little more of Tom and Talia's story too. The ending to this story was a perfect wrap-up of the series. I look forward to reading more by this author!

I have to tell you I read all three and I loved them all Nick I knew he would find someone eventually with is funny and womanizing way but but I guess when you find your true love you grab it and don't let go thanks for bringing this wonderful story of friends that in a long days work becomes the family you never had and that what counts I just wish there was going to be another book to kind of tie all of them together again in some kind of way
