About the Author
Nigel Hinton hated school and left to try several jobs before returning to education and training to become a teacher. He was encouraged to write seriously by the success of his first book, COLLISION COURSE. BUDDY, which was adapted for TV, followed, and then BUDDY'S SONG which was made into a film, with Nigel Hinton writing the screen play and nine of the songs. Nigel lives in Sussex and enjoys music, wine, films and reading.

I liked the start - the different births and the parallel lives that eventually meet. The chase and escape were good too with some great descriptions of travel both in UK and France. Then somehow things seemed to finish too quickly, were a bit too glib and the lack of bureaucracy and complications didn't match the reality of the earlier chapters.
I got the feeling that having got to the crux of the story the author then struggled to find a way to wind everything down and come to an ending.
