Product Description

Osprey 260e is a PCI-Express video capture and streaming card. Multiple cards may be used in a single system chassis. Composite, S-Video and component inputs, with unbalanced and balanced audio. Breakout cable, full-height and low-profile brackets included. Extend features with Simulstream. Windows and Linux. (formerly by Viewcast) The Osprey 260e is a versatile video capture card with composite, component and S-Video as well as balanced and unbalanced audio. This single-solution card meets the demands of today's multi-platform digital media marketplace. The Osprey 260e automatically detects and adapts on-the-fly when the input video format changes from movie frame rates to television frame rates. Loss of video detection automatically substitutes internally generated NTSC color bars (or other test display) with an optional customized text overlay. If you require encoding to multiple bitrates or more than one format, choose the Osprey 260e with SimulStream. With SimulStream, you can feed audio and video to multiple encoders simultaneously or create multiple streams of the same type with independent settings for sizing, scaling, logos and bit rate. If you need SimulStream features, it is best to purchase it with a new board.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good frame grabber 18 Jan. 2014
By Randall Carlson - Published on Amazon.com

This frame grabber is strictly conforming with ntsc standards. I find it's sensitivity a little different than some of the others available. The converted image looks television-ish and smooth.
