When I began reading Orion `The Fight for Vox' I was a bit concerned that I might get lost because I hadn't read the first book in the series. I needn't have worried; the book is a story in its own right and easy to follow. However there are lots of exciting characters in this book and occasionally I did struggle to keep up with them all. I think it would have been easier to do this if I had read book 1 first. There is a helpful list of how the characters are linked at the end of the book. I didn't feel like this impacted on my enjoyment of the story.

The story put me in mind of the Maximum Ride books by James Patterson. I picked up one of these books on holiday and realised that it was part of a series. I carried on reading and found myself engrossed in a world of extraordinary creatures trying to live an ordinary life. The same is true of the Voxians, they are exciting and gifted characters that appear to live quiet unassuming lives until they are forced to deal with a deadly virus which threatens to destroy their world.
I don't want to give anything away but there was lots of action and a few shocks along the way. Overall a very enjoyable read.

In the first book, FANTACIA, from talented writer Ruth Watson-Morris' Voxian series, I was compelled to follow Angel King Kathos. This time with the entire Universe involves and new demons, stakes are high. He faces nothing but trouble, but he knows how to rev things up with his angel brothers. Yes indeed, they are hell on wheels. ORION, THE FIGHT FOR VOX is deadly and exciting.

This series has just gotten even better! As I enjoyed book 1, I'm glad I bought book 2 - it's exciting, face-paced and a real page turner - a must for any sci-fi/supernatural reader! I'm not going to give anything away so just read it for yourself! I wish I had half of the authors imagination and talent...love it!

This novel has interesting characters and deadly creatures. The enemy and danger lurks everywhere. When a virus removes the Voxians immortality King Kathos and his brothers are needed to tackle their foe. A well written and fast paced novel. If you enjoy fantasy adventure this is one for you. Recommended!
