It's a small collection, with models that would suit younger folders . Some of the models need drawing on, which makes them even better for young folders. There are a couple designs in here that will also need some cutting- they aren't just pure folding.
So a few very simple models, well diagrammed for absolute beginners- my only issue with this volume is the fact that the origami stars on the cover don't seem to actually be in the booklet. They are very simple to make and should have been included.
Origami Vol 2- The reviews for both vols are showing under both books even though I only wrote one review. So I'm editing that review for the second book. It has the same sort of diagrams, and the same sort of very simple models including some that need cutting. I'm a little less impressed with Vol 2 than I was with Vol 1. The models are for absolute beginners, but there is no challenge to improve skills.
True to my expectation, this turned out to be a very simple and easy to learn guide to entry level Origami. The pictures are self explanatory and are in color. This mans that if you open this book in a color reader, tab, or computer, then you will get the full benefit of this book.
I highly recommend this volume as an entry level guide to Origami. Remember, if you wish to do more complex folding, then you have to start here!!
