I had an issue getting it delivered. My tracking # said it was delivered, and I thought it was stolen. Five days later it showed up. That wasn't the seller's fault though and when I emailed them, they were very prompt to reply and had a plan in place to send me another one.
The strap looks really elegant and it has a nice finishing (some kind of acrilic treatment).
The domed crystal completes the classic look of the watch and makes it stand out from other watches.
The dial is white and it has a light silver satin finishing, which gives the watch that vintage look.
I recommend this watch for those who like vintage/classic look time pieces. As for the brad, I did some reaserch on Orient and I turns that it is a very well known watch brand in other markets, acknowledged for making quality products.
Bought it from Long Island Watch, via Amazon, and the delivery was fast, the packaging good... I had nothing to complain about it.
There wasn't much documentation with this watch, which is the only real downside, but it's easy enough to figure out. With fewer adjustments, it's also easy to remember how to change things, which is something I forget with my other watches that have more functions and buttons. I appreciate not having to look for where I stashed the manual last.
The leather band starts out a bit stiff, but after breaking in has become much more comfortable and less noticeable. It seems a bit cheap at first, and I was worried about the exterior scraping off against the buckle, but I'm relieved to say that over the past couple months this hasn't been an issue at all.
A couple times various friends have asked me about this watch because it caught their eye and looked expensive to them. They're always surprised to learn just how affordable this model is for how well it works and good it looks.
When I find items I really like, I tend to get them as gifts for my friends. The Orient Capital is on my shortlist of stocking stuffers this year!
