Product description

Ceylon Cinnamon (also referred to as true cinnamon) is produced from the dried inner bark of the Ceylon cinnamon tree. It has a delicate, warming favour compared to the cheaper Cassia variant which is widely available in many supermarkets. Ceylon cinnamon is a versatile spice that can be used in sweet and savoury dishes. It is also known for its medicinal qualities and unlike Cassia, it contains the lowest levels of coumarin, which can be damaging to the liver and kidney when taken in high doses.

Awful, dont buy, in just a sponfull of cinnamon i found over 15 which appear to be animal hair looks like cat or dog hair to me, its disgusting, and it doesn't smell like real cinnamon, smell like something awfull mixed with a bit of cinnamon i believe you will get very sick by consuming this just YUCK 🤮

The cinnamon powder is incredibly fine so a little goes a long way. It smells more earthy and fragrant not as pungent or synthetic ‘curry’ like as the cassia one. the flavour is more delicate / mellow and not at all harsh. it is lovely . I decided to change as I’d stumbled across some information concerning the health risks associated with the ‘ordinary ‘ cinnamon compared to the Ceylon cinnamon. I was really shocked at the difference as I take it every night with honey in warm milk to help me sleep and for the anti inflammatory benefits because I take meds at night as well for rheumatoid arthritis. I am so glad I tried this and will not go back now. I chose this company because if the soil association stamp and it bring organic- having looked at a few this just seemed the better option and felt right. The service was great and the pack well worth the money I believe when it concerns your health it really does make sense

Two basic types of cinnamon - Cassia cinnamon, and Ceylon
Cassia cinnamon is a very rich source of coumarin which if taken in quantity eg as a supplement is NOT desirable.
Cassia contains approximately 1% coumarin, while Ceylon contains only 0.004%, or 250 times less. This is so low that it's often undetectable.

This Ceylon Cinnamon is very finely ground (care when opening packet!!) has a very delicate ,slightly sweflavour and is not too gritty when stirred into coffee etc.

When I opened the package I smelled the cinnamon and couldn’t help but feel it smelled off. I bought a different brand Ceylon Cinnamon from Ocado to compare and when I smelled the one from Ocado it smells lovely and just like it should which makes me think this cinnamon is not authentic and perhaps mixed with something else. Can’t recommend it at all.

DON’T BUY IT, is full of hair and sand . Is simple horrible. I m extremely sorry as i used for my baby and after few meals i saw hairs in it . So many hair. This should be stop selling. Can you imagine 1 year baby eating something so disgusting. I feel crying all the time when I remember put something like this for n my baby meal. My bad I haven’t checked before . And the tasture is like eathing sand .STOP BUING FROM HERE

As noted by another reviewers there are hairs in it. I filtered the whole lot thorough a fine seive and found many hairs and strange small balls of fiber in it. Threw it all away seemed dirty and unclean..
