The story is fun. The graphics are pretty good. The gameplay is good.

The game could do with being a bit longer though. I enjoyed playing it, but the whole experience, including cut-scenes and failures/retries, was over in about 12 hours. Compare that to the gametime you get from other similarly priced products and it needs to be doubled at least.

The contents of the Blackwater Edition box are okay, but I am not sure they are totally worth the extra money.

Story is great and unique, 90% of time can't tell gameplay from cutscenes. Although story and graphics are great the game certainly feels like I'm watching a movie rather than playing a game (a few of the game chapters are cutscenes)

So I have not quite completed the game yet myself but from what I have played i've enjoyed quite a lot. What really stands out with this game is its graphics and voice acting. I think this has to be the best graphical game I have seen so far, it is by far on its own level. The voice acting is excellent and it certainly helps the World feel real. The story is pretty good to and I am hoping for a sequel as there is load of potential here. Gameplay feels exactly like Uncharted or Gears of war when shooting a gun and hiding behind cover which is great, nothing wrong with that it is fun to play although there could be more fire fights to use the excellent weaponry. Overall so far so good I do think any single player video game fans who own a ps4 should pick this up, the reviews for this game are so unfair, it achieves what its meant to do and the developers specified this in the build up to launch. The contents with this edition are nice but I do wish that Europe had the collectors editions as the U.S had. Feels like we were second best once again. My verdict 8/10 recommend to any single player fans who enjoy a good story and want to see masterpiece graphics and fun gameplay

The main issue i have with this game is that you can't Aim Down sights apart from snippers just really annoys me it could have a great game
Don't really get much of a bonus with having bought the Special addition

As collector's editions for videogames goes, this is a nice, well-made set. As the price has come down dramatically since its release, it's very much worth the asking price. As for the game itself, I can truthfully say that I very much enjoyed it and am more than a little perplexed at some of the extremely negative reviews posted online by professional journalists/reviewers. The Order 1886 is held in much higher regard by those whom have actually purchased the game and played the game through than by the likes of IGN, Eurogamer, Gamespot et al (metacritic user reviews are far more glowing and constructive).
The only real point of agreement that I have with the reviews posted online by professional reviewers, is that the game errs too much on the short side. It can be finished in about a weekend. That said, I don't feel like I have been cheated by Ready at Dawn in paying what I did for the game. Now the game has come down in price, I'd very much recommend it.

Excellent game but will not appeal to all. It is very linear and story driven, more akin to an interactive movie experience than the current crop of open world games populating the charts these days. Very cinematic and atmospheric with phenomenal graphics and high quality voice acting to really immerse you in the story. The gameplay is, at its core, a typical cover based shooter bolstered by some unique weapon types. It doesn't do much that's new, but everything it does do is solid and enjoyable, wrapped in polished visuals, an engaging story and a novel setting.

As a gamer who is beginning to grow tired of games so expansive that you can spend hours doing nothing meaningful in, I found this one a refreshing break from the current norm and enjoyed its shorted more focused play style.

The Blackwater Edition comes with some nice collectibles but possibly aren't worth the extra £30 over what you can currently get the standard edition for.

firstly I will say I was excited for this game when announced as the trailer looked epic however was put off by the price as it soon became cheap but figured because it's "short" and after watching reviews I was lead to believe it wasn't a very good game, however I enjoyed it quite a lot actually I would complain it is shorter than most games but it doesn't harm the story just leaves you wanting more, it reminds me of gears of war in the way it plays, and I would give it a 9/10.

As for the black water edition it looks nice it's got nice patches and a pendant thing with a few in game armoury stuff and some cards and stuff, seems ok but maybe not worth it if you just fancy the game

He says the game play is good although short considering it's price
I have deducted one star from this review because of this
In closing I will just say that reports on the internet saying the game is only 5 hours long seem incorrect
