The GT5000 picture quality is great you can see some pictures I have enclosed, when used during the day on a plain wall with no screen.
You will see it looks great.

I have had this projector for a little over a week. The main advantage of this projector is the setup. Mine is sat on a unit that is 50 cm deep and pushed up against the wall the projector is projecting on. You sit the projector on the unit, plug in a video source such as Apple TV and you are ready to go. You can just use a white wall as I have but will get better results with a screen. It has an inbuilt speaker which is quite weak but it is easy to plug in another active speaker. As a basic setup that's all you need to do. I had a choice between this and a 65 inch TV. This gives me an 88 inch screen which is enormous but when it's turned off you just have a small box on the sideboard.

To be clear this is not a TV replacement unless you like sitting in the dark, it is a cinema for your home and it genuinely gives that cinema experience. Two friends have seen it and both are considering buying. I paid just under one thousand pounds for my unit and I believe it is well worth it.

I've had a number of projectors in the past and they have all been LCD based machines as I can see the rainbows that are commonly associated with DLP machines. However wanting a short throw meant I had to go for a DLP this time and thankfully this projector is so much better than most DLP projectors I have used before. Whilst the rainbows are still visible for me, I tend to only notice them when there is rapid action or in high contrast scenes.

The projector has good brightness levels and is visible (though picture not great) even when it is daylight outside with poor curtains. The image is sharp and well focused, though sadly there is no zoom adjustment (not even a small range), so placement of the projector is absolutely key. The projector takes a good range of inputs and has wide range of configuration options, though I have not yet tested the 3D modes so cannot comment fully on all parts of the projector.

The way I see it is this projector is pretty hard to beat at its current price of ~£600, but if you suffer from rainbows then an LCD machine will be better if you can have a long throw. If you can't do a long throw then this is the projector to go for.

I originally ordered an Aukey LED projector http://amzn.to/2jyh2UE for £100 less which I found really exceeded my expectations and made me really excited to try this ML750e projector. I've wanted to set up a cinema for ages but don't really have the space so a compact LED projector seemed the way to go.

Please note: This review is biased because I am directly comparing it. Some of these points may not be as apparent without direct comparison.

I was expecting the difference between the ML750 and the Aukey to be great given the supposed difference in spec of 700 lumens and 15000:1 contrast ratio vs 200 and 1000:1. If anything this projector made me realise how good the Aukey actually was and how mediocre the Optoma is. I'll explain why:
- Focus: I simply could not get the Optoma as focussed as the Aukey. It's impossible, the lens really is worse quality or something. The focus isn't "bad" but the difference is immediately noticeable on text and faces.
- Contrast: Yes the contrast is definitely better, there is definitely more detail in the shadows and highlights, however, oddly, in the mid range the contrast of the Aukey seemed better, possibly due to the better focus.
- Hue: The Optoma has a green hue that I just could not get rid of. It's not major and I'm sure once you're used to it then it wouldn't be an issue, but stuff that is supposed to be white really does come out a sepia green.
- Adjustment: You get brightness and contrast, that's it! There are different modes that give you slightly different picture hues but "Bright" is useless, stuff comes out more green. Photo and PC mode do also allow you to change "White intensity" but I don't find whites to be that white so you want this on full anyway.

I have been shopping on Amazons for many years but don't normally do product review.
Just got this projector 3 days ago and have watched 4 movies + using it for Youtube (chromecast) and web browsing.
For its price I can't really fault the picture quality, it is bright, sharp and accurate colours, no ghosting on fast action movies.
The built in speaker is not wonderful I don't really need it as I have my own.

I am using a pull up 80" screen, which means my screen is not fixed to a wall and requires a bit of adjustment to get the picture right, the setup is not difficult, placing it at the right distance between the projector (mine at around 0.8 meters and set negative zoom), do vertical keystone + image shift then its all good to go.

My only nag is that the remote doesnt have a quick key for image shift...
Overall I feel that it is a super good buy I am happy with, there are projectors out there with better features / quality but then you'll be spending 2 - 3 times more than this price. Can't wait to play my Nintendo Switch on the projector next week :)
