This is a really great monitor.

I upgraded my Dell monitor to this MSI monitor and resolution and performance is noticably better due to the better refresh rate and therefore smoother gaming experience. This monitor is also excellent for digital artwork as the colour contrasts and richness are far better than standard monitors.

The swivel design and height adjustment makes it easier to plug in and change to a comfortable height without needing to use a riser. I also like the joystick navigator you get on the back of this screen instead of buttons like you get on other monitiors.

Comparing this to my last one, I would say the screen has a very sharp contrast and colour range, which after a while (4+ hours) feels like its straining my eyes. After owning this monitor for 2 months horizontal lines appeared at the bottom of the screen. I did all the trouble shooting but couldn't resolve the issue. I had warranty on this monitor so I contacted amazon who wanted me speak to the manufacturers first. MSI said they can repair it but if they can't they will replace it. Then they charged me £30 to send it to them only to tell me after 2 days that they can't fix it nor do they have any in stock to repair it. Instead they told me to make a case with amazon and they sent the monitor back to me 2 weeks after our last conversation even though they made me pay for next day delivery.
